Google changed their logo. Did you notice?

It’s such a small change that it’s practically invisible to the naked eye. If we look at the before and after GIF here below we can see a small movement with the last “g” and “l”.

Why would Google carry out such a small change? Can this millimeter affect its branding? We analyzed it and realized that in the old logo the base of the “l” wasn’t aligned with the rest of the letters.

What we find amazing about this is not the fact that Google had an unaligned logo… but that some users spotted the tiny tweak!
