Summer is officially over. In the spirit of not-letting-go, we want to share these beautiful aerial shots of New York’s and Miami’s beaches taken by Belgian photographer Antoine Rose.
They are part of his “Up in the Air” series, which Antoine shoots while strapped from the outside of a helicopter. Shot from a bird’s eye view, people and umbrellas are miniaturized and abstracted, becoming a graphically interesting study in minimalism and sociology.
